Boy are we glad that we did because like previous... read more reviews we were privileged to see the pod of dolphins. Sandy (ship's captain) steered the boat to the perfect spot and we were able to observe the adults and babies up close..... what a magical experience for everyone on board. Then we motored to Loch Coruisk where we spent around an hour and a half surrounded by spine tingling scenery. Sandy and Seumas took great care of the humans and doggy passengers, helping to carry the dogs up/down the landing steps. On the return journey Seumas regaled us with factual and mythical stories....... very talented young man. A fantastic experience and one I would highly recommend if you have time!!

The hot chocolate and biscuits were a lovely unexpected treat. The dog also enjoyed himself! Afterwards we had delicious lobster rolls from the nearby snack hut -never had these before but definitely want them again!

As is always true with Isle of Skye, the views were stunning. Loch Coruisk is breathtaking, and we highly recommend taking the longer trip. We were the only ones who did and had the 3 hour walk around the loch to ourselves to experience.

  This was an absolutely beautiful trip. The skipper and his son were knowledgeable and shared much history. We had 1.5 hours to wander around an island to take... read more pictures and hike if we chose. Our time was mostly free of rain, any hiking would be tough in the rain. We saw 2 schools of seals,sunning them selves on the rocks.

Parking was very tight at the boat launch, so best to arrive early. The drive each direction was single track, and stressful for us, being new to Scotland. But the drive was beautiful also. We would definitely do this activity again.

I wish I could have taken home their whole box of home made shortbread though. Yum.
